I am a Licensed Counselor in Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, Texas, and Utah with over 14 years working in mental health. I have worked with variety of concerns in many different settings including outpatient, community non-profit, schools, and private practice.
My focus and passion are helping people find and maintain fulfillment in their various relationships and heal from relationship trauma. Our relationships with others impact so many aspects of our lives and I aim to help you gain control of those impacts.
In addition to relationship communication, I am also focused in PTSD, disordered eating, anxiety, self-worth, and LGBTQ+ issues. I treat a broad array of other issues, as well, using a tailored-to-you approach that ensures you get what you need out of our time together.

Charley Yap - Wellness Coordinator Intern
Charley joins Smee Wellness as a Wellness Coordinator Intern for Summer 2026, assisting with marketing, social media, community outreach, and administrative support. They are currently pursuing a B.A. in Psychology at UNLV, with hopes of going on to earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Charley is passionate about mental health awareness and understanding how and why people think the way they do, without making them feel invalidated. They love channeling emotions into creativity, often expressing them through art, and have a fondness for nature and bonding with friends over shared interests.
Through this internship, Charley looks forward to stepping outside their comfort zone, learning what it takes to run a business, and connecting with people who can support their future goals.
